On behalf of WAN-IFRA, the World Association of News Publishers, we extend the condolences of the entire global newspaper community to his family and colleagues.

He was part of the generation of editors, engineers by training, with a taste for international exchanges and a passion for information technology, who contributed to Ifra’s expansion. The association experienced an unprecedented period of expansion under his presidency, enlarging the facilities of its headquarters in Darmstadt and launching new activities in the field of digital media. Even today, WAN-IFRA remains indebted to the energy and vision of editors like Jacques Saint-Cricq” said Vincent Peyrègne, CEO of WAN-IFRA.
