Dr. Saleh Alhumaidan born 1957 in Khabrah, Kingdom of Saudi-Arabia, has been a member of the Board of Directors of the The World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), since 2008 and Chairman of the WAN-IFRA Middle East committee since 2011. Saleh has been the former director general of Al-Youm newspaper and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Saleh Al-Humaidan holds a Bachelor and MBA degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a Doctorate in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from Grenoble Ecole de Management, France.

A giving journey

Dr. Alhumaidan has been actively involved in academia both as a lecturer in Human Resource Management at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and member of the board of trustees of two universities in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the “Vision Center for Social Studies” since 2010.

Saleh Al-Humaidan was a representative of Saudi Private Sector in the International Labor Organizations, President of the manpower committee of the chamber of commerce & Industry of the Eastern Province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He was a Member of the advisory committee of the college of Industrial management, King Fahad University of Petroleum & minerals and Vice President of the board of directors, at King Fahad University Alumni Club, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He has been a Member of the board of HRH Prince Mohammad Bin Fahad Award for Excellence Performance.

Previously, Saleh has held posts as a Member of the board of directors, Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; President of the Information Network Committee, Federation of GCC chamber (FGCCC); Member of the board of directors, Commercial Malls Co., Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Global Group for training & development, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Member of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Enterprises Co. SHAMS, Dammam, Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
