For the first time in a decade, the World News Media Congress will be hosted in Asia, this time in the vibrant city of Taipei, Taiwan, from 28 to 30 June 2023. The event will be hosted in partnership with Taiwan’s United Daily News Group.
As we head into 2023, news interest and consumption are high, and sustainability, democratic freedoms and truth are at risk. Join us as we share experiences, celebrate successes and seek solutions for a better future

We are interested in people, projects and strategies to inspire, inform or challenge members of the global news media community.

We want to hear from you if you work in a newsroom or news organisation and have something worth sharing. Email the programming team(congress@wan-ifra.org) before the deadline of 9 Jan, and we will consider your proposal. Be sure to tell us a bit about yourself, the idea, and the suggested speaker/s. Programming formats for 2023 will include keynotes, expert panels and roundtable discussions. Remember, diversity matters.
