Society’s defence to disinformation is independent truth-seeking journalism. 

Jointly, the World Association of News Publishers, Global Forum for Media Development represent more than 18 000 media outlets, media development organisations and non-profit journalism organisations worldwide.

Together we support journalists who dare to stand up to repressive regimes by exposing facts and abuses of power, allowing people in Ukraine, Russia and the rest of the world to make their own informed decisions.
